Marangu Hospital received an ambulance donated by Mission EineWelt from Germany, enhancing our ability to deliver swift, life-saving transport for emergencies and maternal care. This was co-financed through a generous inheritance directed to support healthcare in Tanzania, providing critical resources to our community . This new vehicle helps us respond faster and more effectively—saving lives, one journey at a time. .

Marangu Hospital’s surgical theatre underwent a major renovation—fully supported by the Kilimanjaro Initiative, PD Aid Foundation, and Rotary Club of Marangu—to include a modern solar power installation. This means our theatre now operates smoothly during blackouts, providing reliable, safe, and efficient surgical care at all times—ensuring every procedure can proceed, regardless of grid interruptions .

Marangu palliative care unit received the grant through support and guidance from ELCT Palliative care programme. This tools aimed for home based clients with ambulatory / mobility difficulties ,
